The story behind the song

Written and recorded in 2013, in the early part of my songwriting journey, Easter Bunny is a fun, upbeat song where the strong influence the Beach Boys had on my music can clearly be heard. Initially recorded as an excercise in arranging harmonies, I decided to release it in case there was some great interest in songs about the Easter Bunny. It turned out that there was…

The song remains one of my most successful releases, having been added to several seasonal playlists throughout the years. For reasons about which I am quite unsure, it seems to get quite a lot of traction in Poland around the festive season.

Easter Bunny Lyrics

Here he comes hip hip hip hopping along
Bringing golden treats and singing his song
He is the most perculiar creature
You have ever seen
In his basket eggs are hidden
Gold and red and green

Easter bunny
He’s so funny
I like chocolate
Bring me chocolate
Please

See him hurry scurry flurrying on his way
He’s a busy bunny on Easter Sunday
I know you don’t believe me but this tall tale it is true
He’s an extra ordinary fellow through and through

Easter bunny
He’s so funny
I like chocolate
Bring me chocolate
Please

He is the most perculiar creature
You have ever seen
In his basket eggs are hidden
Gold and red and green

Easter bunny
He’s so funny
I like chocolate
Bring me chocolate
Please

I like chocolate, bring me chocolate
I like chocolate, bring me chocolate
