Timothy McGAw: Visual artist & Songwriter

Hey, I’m Timothy McGaw, a self-produced songwriter, photographer, visual artist, and content creator from Ellesmere Port, now based in Swinton, Greater Manchester. I write and release original music that blends psychedelic chamber rock with lo-fi textures, emotional storytelling, and a bit of music theory mischief. My creative work is shaped by a love of saturated analogue sounds, experimental harmonies, and hand-crafted visuals, often drawn from my passion for photography and expressionist art.

Outside my personal creative projects, I work full time in marketing, a career that grew from my years in hospitality and my love for great pubs, regional breweries, and the culture around them. I’m also a big fan of social media, blogging, and digital storytelling, whether for personal or collaborative projects.

I’m always keen to connect with other creatives or small businesses in Manchester and the North West. Whether it’s photography, visual art, or music, I love working with people who care deeply about what they make. This site is a home for my work, past, present, and ongoing. Thanks for visiting.

NEW MUSIc- Get to Nowhere

Listen to my latest song. Get to Nowhere was written and recorded at my home studio. Featuring a sparse arrangement of ukulele, keys, bass, percussion and a solo vocal. The song explores themes of personal growth and healing in the wake of past trauma.
